Tidbits:
- We will be back with a more detailed tidbit..and change the name of this from tidbits...but we have great stories to share about our "daffodil fest".
- Our High Tunnel installation has been delayed a bit. You can see the posts for it in some of the pix.
- Fingers crossed our spring plantings will go well!!
- Check back regularly. Once we can see things taking shape and ready for sale...we will certainly try and keep everything up to date.
- We plan to have pictures posted regularly with what we have available.
- And oh by the way....Our Christmas tree lot was an amazing adventure. We really enjoyed getting to visit with so many of our neighbors. A now known fact: 99.99% of everyone that visits a Christmas Tree lot is in an awesome mood!!

Our Story
Welcome to Fran’s Flowers dba The Ranch…
We are Rich and Mary Lisowsky, living in Chapel Hill for the last 25 years. Rich is a licensed General Contractor and business owner of The Solutions Group. Mary enjoys interior design projects, as well as, growing and arranging flowers for weddings and events. Our son, Markham, wears a variety of hats in the family business. Our daughter, Samantha, and husband reside in Wilmington with our two grandchildren.
When we ‘downsized’, we bought a property with 10 acres, so our love for gardening expanded, literally! Our love for gardening was instilled by our parents. Mary's mother loved to garden but was also inspired by her mother's childhood home, Pine Hill. When her grandmother (Mary's namesake) and grandfather built the home, they planted 13,000 evergreens. Rich’s father, was a farmer for many years. Rich’s mother, Fran, always wanted a flower shoppe, thus Fran’s Flowers was named in her honor.
Our virtual roadside flower stand will feature seasonal stems (buckets or arrangements), hanging baskets and potted plants. Daily updates for available items, either for delivery or pick up.
This winter we will also offer a Christmas Tree lot featuring NC grown Frasier Firs. We have earmarked a half dozen or so 12-14 ft trees. We could assist with getting it set it up in your home and pick it up when you are ready to have it removed.
